First Plymouth is my absolute favorite church to work at. The staff and pastors are all so kind and easy to work with and I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I have photographed more weddings at First Plymouth than any other church---more than ten! I've even had weddings two weeks in a row. This isn't particularly surprising as it books very far in advance and they typically have three weddings a day on Saturdays. I even tried to book them for my own weddings, but sadly they were already full for my date.
The sanctuary is absolutely stunning, but my favorite feature is the Lord's Prayer Sculpture that hangs from the ceiling. The art and architecture of the building is so unique and such a landmark for the city of Lincoln.
The exterior property is also phenomenal for photos with multiple courtyards, beautiful landscaping and plenty options that are absolutely perfect for photos.
The "getting ready" room at most churches doubles as a Sunday school room, or some kind of storage and isn't neccesarily the most beautiful spot to get ready. At First Plymouth they have a room that is much more ideal with a full wall of windows (I love natural light!) plenty of mirrors, a private bathroom, and beautiful furniture.
