I was a little hesitant to include this image in my portfolio as the beautiful woman in the center passed away about a month after this was taken.
Photos were so important to her and she arranged for the session when she probably had a million other things to think about. Despite the sad scenario it was such a happy and joyful day and I was beyond honored to be able to capture it.
This ranks at the top of the list for me on my favorite photos because it shows such a happy and special family that I have known for many years. In addition, it is another reminder of the importance of my job and that I am doing something that really matters.
